The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vanderbeet looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Brown connects with a crisp jab.
Vanderbeet walks into a stiff left hand from Brown.
Vanderbeet looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Brown takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Oooooh!!! Brown has knocked Vanderbeet down with a huge combo! Brown steps away and waves a wobbly Vanderbeet back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Vanderbeet is rocked!
It looks like Horacio Vanderbeet has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vanderbeet is aggressively charging in as Brown backs up avoiding any damage. Brown tosses out a jab and Vanderbeet runs right into it face first! Vanderbeet is out cold! Brown dropped down on all fours and is barking in Vanderbeet's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Danny Brown!
Danny Brown is the new lightweight champion!
As Danny Brown got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I just wanted to win this belt for fun and smash this champ. I'm going back to Siberian Fight League to get the LW title. '.
