The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ernst drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

End can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ernst controls the pace.

End stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ernst swivels though and keeps the full guard.

End is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
End working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ernst doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ernst manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

End is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ernst bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

End moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Rave End will probably get the nod.

Ernst will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ernst takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
End works over Ernst's head and body with a nice combination.
End misses with a double jab.
End lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by End.
Ernst moves in looking to clinch but End pushes him off.
End's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and End duly obliges.
End tries to bum rush Ernst with a series of wild strikes but Ernst uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
End is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ernst shoots in looking for a takedown. End tries to sprawl out of it but Ernst keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. End manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
End misses with a jab, cross combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No luck for Ernst with that takedown attempt.

End stuffs the takedown attempt from Ernst. Ernst gets slowly back to his feet.

Ernst might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
End tries to land a sweep but no joy.

End looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Ernst is defending well. End quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Ernst has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! End celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
