Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rockem Sockem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Channing Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rockem Sockem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sockem lands a jab to the nose.
Hart gets the takedown into side control.
Hart decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sockem to his feet.
Some wild striking there from Sockem.
Sockem misses the jab.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Sockem enables Hart to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sockem manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Sockem knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hart on the ground.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sockem tries to buck Hart off but Hart is having none of it.

Hart drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hart jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Hart stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sockem swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hart is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Hart thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Hart throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Hart looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sockem with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Hart is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Sockem might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Sockem is letting Hart control him for a moment.
Hart working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Channing Hart showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Sockem's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Hart dodges the punch combination from Sockem.
Sockem throws out a loose jab but Hart uses good head movement to avoid it.

Sockem can't keep his opponent in guard - Hart advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Well, if Hart is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Sockem is in trouble now - Hart has advanced to mount!

Oh Sockem is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hart loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Sockem scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Hart land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Hart stands and salutes the crowd.
