Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kim Daisoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Murder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Daisoo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Indestructible. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kim Daisoo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Murder! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daisoo stuffs the takedown attempt from Murder. Murder gets slowly back to his feet. Daisoo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Murder working for submissions but it's allowed Daisoo to get to half guard.
Murder tries to get to full guard but Daisoo has control of the leg. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Murder trying to control but Daisoo postures up.
Murder pushes Daisoo off looking to stand but Daisoo dives back in and keeps control.
Murder is not content to let Daisoo control the position. Well, if Daisoo is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daisoo decides to stand and escape the position. Murder has his takedown stuffed so Daisoo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Murder being controlled here, momentarily. Murder looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Murder looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Daisoo preventing the sweep. Daisoo wants to stand but Murder is controlling his posture from full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Daisoo stands up over Murder, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Murder keeping moving, preventing Daisoo from controlling successfully. Daisoo won't allow Murder to get back to his feet. Murder looks gassed! Daisoo tries to free his leg and advance position but Murder is retaining full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Daisoo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Murder tries for a takedown but Daisoo circles away easily and Daisoo counters with a nice body kick.
Kim Daisoo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Murder.

Daisoo misses with a head kick.
Murder misses with a few strikes there.
Daisoo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Daisoo scores with a leg kick.
Daisoo misses with a low kick. Daisoo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Murder is not content to let Daisoo control the position. Daisoo stands up out of the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Murder checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Murder stuns Daisoo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Murder tries to clinch there but Daisoo circles away.
Daisoo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Murder sprawls well initially but Daisoo persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Murder actively working from the bottom here. Daisoo wants to take a breather but Murder is having none of it. Daisoo wants to free his trapped foot but Murder is holding on for dear life with his legs. Murder missing with punches from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Daisoo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Murder throws out the jab. Daisoo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Daisoo wants to land a leg kick but Murder is out of range. Daisoo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Murder is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Daisoo pulls his head out easily. Daisoo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Murder is trying to get back to full guard. Daisoo wants to pass the guard but Murder is defending well. Murder is breathing heavily. Daisoo is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daisoo is trying to control the action in half guard but Murder is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Murder is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Daisoo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Murder does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Daisoo lands a head kick. Murder smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Daisoo throws a sloppy head kick and Murder moves out of range easily. Daisoo throws a head kick that half lands.
Murder walks forward, straight into a front kick from Daisoo. Daisoo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Murder wants to sweep but no luck. Murder has his foot on Daisoo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Daisoo works his way back into a safe position though. Daisoo stands and steps away. Murder gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Daisoo is looking to slow Murder down with leg kicks. Daisoo lands a nice shot to the body.
Daisoo clinches up with Murder and pushes him back against the cage. Daisoo lands a takedown into guard.

Murder manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Daisoo manages to get himself to full guard.
Murder sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Daisoo's guard. Murder is looking to advance position but Daisoo won't allow it. Murder is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Daisoo has managed to free his arm - good work. Daisoo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Murder on the ground. Daisoo is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Murder scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Murder throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Daisoo pushes Murder off looking to stand but Murder dives back in and keeps control.
Murder works his way into side control. Daisoo tries to bench press Murder off him but Murder keeps the position. Daisoo is trying to control Murder's posture but Murder avoids it. Daisoo is trying to get back to half guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nice body kick there by Daisoo. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Murder lands a couple of digs. Murder trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Daisoo trying to keep a closed guard but Murder is proving a slippery customer.

Daisoo is desperately trying to improve his position but Murder has a good base and remains in mount. Daisoo tries to hold on but Murder pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daisoo prevents Murder from taking his back. Murder throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Murder has control of Daisoo's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Daisoo regains control of the situation pretty easily.

John Murder has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Poor strikes thrown by Murder there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kim Daisoo. Well Daisoo has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
