Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Flip De La Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janos Czlenner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De La Cruz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Czlenner drops back, looking for a kneebar! De La Cruz looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. De La Cruz looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from De La Cruz!

You can see the frustration on Czlenner's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
De La Cruz remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

De La Cruz gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

De La Cruz is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Czlenner has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Czlenner!

Janos Czlenner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

De La Cruz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Czlenner moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
