PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pijter Diezel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Kula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Diezel might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Metallica - Battery. Kula comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bullet - Bite the Bullet kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pijter Diezel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kula fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Diezel gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kula to score an easy takedown into full guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Kula postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Diezel is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kula, into his guard.

Kula had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Diezel defends it easily.

Kula drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Diezel dives on top into guard.

Kula drops back looking for a leg! Diezel is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Diezel manages to kick Kula off! Kula jumps back into Diezel's guard.

I would just about give that final round to Kalle Kula.
