The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kahne shoots in but Youngblud avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kahne shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Youngblud defends it nicely.
Kahne takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Kahne shoots for a takedown but Youngblud saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Ken Kahne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Youngblud uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kahne has time to react.

Youngblud really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kahne. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Youngblud pushes Kahne off looking to stand but Kahne dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kahne has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Youngblud defend it? Kahne steps over the head and cranks it - Youngblud is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Kahne!
