Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamie Scott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Baba Singh! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scott closes the distance and clinches. Singh is working for takedown but Scott is calmly controlling the position for now. Scott breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Scott has managed to clinch.
Singh has hold of one of Scott's legs. Scott is fighting the takedown attempt but Singh gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Scott wants to stand and escape but Singh is having none of it. Singh passes Scott's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Singh wants to work for an arm triangle but Scott is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Still in half guard, Singh seems content to control. Singh missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Scott is looking to get back to is feet but Singh passes into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Scott being controlled for a moment. Scott knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Singh on the ground. Scott tries to escape but Singh is in control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Singh working the ground and pound. Singh content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Singh working the ground and pound. Singh throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Singh wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Scott, who protects the arm well. Scott takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Scott is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Singh has just dragged him back down to the mat. Scott trying to remain calm as Singh controls from the top position. Singh working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Scott is breathing heavily. Singh happy to just control the position for now. Scott takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Singh tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Singh looks up at the clock and then as Scott takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Singh smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott seems a little lost for a moment, as Singh dominates the positioning. Singh in side control lands a decent elbow. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Singh controls the position from side control. Singh lands a nice forearm strike. Scott takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Singh cracks Scott with a big elbow. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Scott is rocked! Singh scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Scott is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Singh can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
