Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Troy McLure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Icarus Ritter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McLure comes to the cage accompanied by The Simpsons Theme Song. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Troy McLure! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Icarus Ritter! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jonathan Paton and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from McLure. No joy for Ritter on that attempt. McLure moves out of range as Ritter throws a body kick.
Troy McLure seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McLure tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ritter paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ritter keeps the fight on the outside. Ritter misses with a two punch combination.

Ritter swats away the attempt to clinch by McLure. McLure throws out a loose jab but Ritter uses good head movement to avoid it. McLure throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ritter. McLure looks to land a combination but Ritter avoids it well. McLure tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ritter paws at him with a jab and circles away. McLure lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ritter backs up against the cage.

McLure tries to circle away but Ritter has him pinned against the cage. Ritter stalls. McLure tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. McLure is trying to push Ritter away but Ritter has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. McLure tries to circle away but Ritter has him pinned against the cage. McLure tries to land knees in the clinch but Ritter avoids the damage to the body. Ritter successfully pulls guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ritter is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. McLure trying to control but Ritter is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ritter is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and McLure defends well. Ritter escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McLure gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. McLure knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ritter on the ground. McLure showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Ritter keeping moving, preventing McLure from controlling successfully. Ritter working for a triangle but McLure defends it easily.

Ritter bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McLure's guard. McLure not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
McLure is looking to stand up but Ritter isn't so interested in that idea. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. McLure controls Ritter momentarily but Ritter frees himself. Ritter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McLure swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ritter postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. McLure is trying to control the position but Ritter postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Troy McLure. McLure misses with a straight right. McLure swinging wildly here.
McLure tries to clinch but Ritter moves away and Ritter counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McLure is refusing to be controlled, as Ritter sits in half guard. Nice strikes from Ritter there. McLure is defending against the submission attempts here by Ritter.
Ritter is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ritter is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, McLure has managed to free his arm - good work. McLure works his way to full guard. Good work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Icarus Ritter dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
McLure stalks Ritter and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ritter's face. Ritter staggers backwards, shaken. McLure moves in looking to clinch but Ritter pushes him off. McLure rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ritter moves out of range and avoids them all easily. McLure thuds his right hand into Ritter's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McLure moves into the clinch. McLure working hard to break the clinch. Ritter misses with a hook from the clinch. Ritter throws a punch but it's blocked by McLure. A nice glancing elbow lands by Ritter.
It looks like Troy McLure has been cut. McLure dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. McLure misses with a shot to the kidneys.

McLure tries to bum rush Ritter with a series of wild strikes but Ritter uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Ritter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

McLure tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Ritter counters with a body kick that stops McLure in his tracks momentarily. McLure wants to clinch up but Ritter keeps it at a distance. The fight moves into the clinch position. Ritter tries to land knees in the clinch but McLure avoids the damage to the body. McLure looking to slow down the pace here. Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Icarus Ritter! Icarus Ritter decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
