Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Dunn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Drew Foster!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dunn fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Foster manages to avoid it.
Foster waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dunn.
Foster avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dunn throws a right hand that Foster ducks under and follows up with a left that Foster also avoids with ease.
A big left from Foster misses.
Dunn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dunn connects with a single shot there.
Dunn with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Foster is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dunn.
Dunn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Foster circles away quickly and effectively.
A looping hook to the body misses from Foster. Dunn does a little dance to reset his feet.
Foster doesn't manage to clinch there - Dunn circles away.
Foster throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Foster closes the distance but Dunn moves to the side
and Foster takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Foster tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dunn was well out of range. Poor timing from Foster.

Dunn fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Foster sprawls well initially but Dunn persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Foster is looking to control Dunn's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Foster avoid being mounted?
Foster tries to roll over but Dunn keeps him under control.

Foster regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Dunn.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Drew Foster hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Dunn lands with a nice body punch.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dunn tests Foster's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Dunn stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Foster looks to throw the jab but Dunn is out of range.

Dunn shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Foster manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

That was a close second round but I would say that John Dunn will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dunn pushes off an throws an elbow but Foster leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Drew Foster has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
John Dunn is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Dunn.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dunn, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

John Dunn decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
