Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alfonso Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonard Washington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Washington's choice of entrance music: Snuffed Out by Streetlife. Leonard Washington told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lopez momentarily.
It looks like Alfonso Lopez has been cut.
Lopez moves out of range of the body kick.
Good shot there by Lopez.
Washington tries a head kick but it misses.
Leonard Washington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good standup being displayed there by Washington as he connects with a hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A nice inside leg kick there by Lopez. That's going to slow Washington down.
A solid leg kick lands there for Lopez.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lopez. Washington does a little dance to reset his feet.
A shot to the liver by Lopez. Beautiful body shot.
Washington scores with a hook to the body. Lopez takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lopez, right into the meat.
Washington moves out of range as Lopez throws a body kick.
Lopez keeps Washington at a distance using the push kick.
Washington stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lopez.
Lopez lands a head kick!
It looks like Leonard Washington has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Washington feints a jab promting Lopez to slip. Washington then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lopez slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Washington lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Lopez can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Washington and Lopez drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Washington.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leonard Washington!
