Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eli Bernstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Whitehead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eli Bernstein! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Whitehead! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bernstein gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bernstein is pulling down on Whitehead's head. It's preventing any offense from Whitehead, at least for the moment. Whitehead stops Bernstein from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bernstein trying to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
We're going to have a standup here because Eli Bernstein wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Bernstein keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Eli Bernstein is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bernstein.
Bernstein cracks the inside of Whitehead's front leg. Bernstein works the jab nicely. A slapping leg kick lands for Bernstein.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bernstein looks to land a combination but Whitehead avoids it well. Whitehead fails with the takedown and Bernstein counters with a head kick that drops Whitehead to the mat! Whitehead scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Whitehead is rocked! Whitehead looks winded! Bernstein tries a head kick but it misses.
Whitehead is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bernstein sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Eli Bernstein has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Whitehead. Bernstein with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Bernstein ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Whitehead's jaw. Whitehead's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Bernstein does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Eli Bernstein! Eli Bernstein was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
