Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Martin Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JB Hoss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Martin Hunter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, JB Hoss! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoss rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hunter counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hoss won't be happy with that. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Hunter working the ground and pound. Hoss managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Hunter.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hunter cracks Hoss with a big elbow. Hoss parries the strikes from Hunter easily there. Hunter is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hoss to escape.
Hunter working the ground and pound but Hoss is defending the strikes. Hunter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hoss on the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hoss is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hunter's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Hunter throws a strike but Hoss avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Hoss pulls Hunter in close to prevent any damage. Hoss working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hunter. Hunter postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Hunter postures up in Hoss's guard and throws a big left but Hoss blocks it. Hoss is pulling down on Hunter's head to control his posture. Hunter tries to free his leg and advance position but Hoss is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hoss has his hands on Hunter's head, controlling the position. Hunter throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Hunter throws a big elbow that misses. Hunter postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Hunter loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hunter looking to sit in guard and control but Hoss gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Hoss stays in close to Hunter's body and controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hoss scoring with punches to the head and body. Hunter keeping full guard, as Hoss tries to pass. Hoss controls from within his opponent's guard. Hoss tries to free his leg and advance position but Hunter is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by JB Hoss. Hunter fails with the takedown and Hoss counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hunter! Hoss with the ground and pound from mount. Hoss lands a big shot there that rocks Hunter but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Hunter is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hoss content just to control the position here. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hoss cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Oh Hunter is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hoss looking to ground and pound but Hunter is blocking nicely. Hunter seems to have got his legs back now. Hoss takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Hoss landing shots from mount. Poor strikes thrown by Hoss there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Hunter on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hunter tries to get out of the position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hunter working to try and regain half guard.
Hunter is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

JB Hoss dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!

and Hunter counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Hoss keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Hoss trying to hold on to Hunter's head to control him but Hunter postures up.
Hunter lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Hoss blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hunter. Hoss works his way to full guard. Good work. Hoss manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hunter avoids a series of strikes thrown by Hoss.

Hoss lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Hunter hang on? Hunter is looking to improve his position but Hoss isn't that keen on the idea. Hoss landing shots from mount. Hoss fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Hunter is rocked! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hoss looking to control and managing it successfully. Oh Hunter is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Hoss punishing his opponent with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hoss lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Hunter seems to have got his legs back now. Hunter wants to control but Hoss is having none of it. Hoss controlling from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
JB Hoss has got the better of the ground game so far. Hoss controlling from the full mount. Hoss has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

JB Hoss has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Hunter with a lazy takedown attempt and Hoss counters with a single leg into guard. Hunter didn't expect that. Hoss controls from within his opponent's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hoss working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hoss's corner is telling him to maintain position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
JB Hoss showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Hunter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hoss tries to avoid it but Hunter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hoss to the ground. Hoss escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hunter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hoss but Hoss pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hoss swings widly with a right hand
and Hunter counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hunter has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Hoss bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hunter's guard. Hoss passes easily into side control. Nice work. Hoss controlling from side mount. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hoss postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hoss staying calm. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hoss lands a few punches from side control.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by JB Hoss. A low kick from Hoss misses and Hunter counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hoss thinking. Martin Hunter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hunter doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hoss counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Martin Hunter. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hoss is concentrating on defense, preventing Hunter from advancing position. Hoss regains full guard. Nicely done. Hoss manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

And that's the end of the fight! JB Hoss comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hoss has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
