Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Archibald Tuttle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolls Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tuttle comes to the ring accompanied by RAWR. Gracie comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Wu-Tang Clan - The Mystery Of Chessboxin kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Archibald Tuttle has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Archibald Tuttle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rolls Gracie! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tuttle looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Tuttle avoids the body shot from Gracie.
Tuttle tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Gracie paws at him with a jab and circles away. Tuttle tries to clinch and Gracie counters with a right hand to the body. Tuttle throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A good leg kick by Tuttle. Gracie throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Tuttle throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily. Tuttle tries for a takedown but Gracie circles away easily and Gracie counters with a single leg into guard. Tuttle didn't expect that. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Gracie chips away with some ground and pound. Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Tuttle is retaining full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tuttle manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Tuttle moves in looking to clinch but Gracie pushes him off. Gracie avoids the head kick by Tuttle.
Tuttle avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gracie keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tuttle misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tuttle has Gracie up against the ropes in a clinch.
Gracie tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tuttle just stands there and leans against the ropes. Gracie tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Tuttle tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gracie just stands there and leans against the ropes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Archibald Tuttle. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gracie pulls guard successfully.
Gracie has a closed guard, preventing Tuttle from standing up. Gracie keeping full guard, as Tuttle tries to pass. Tuttle decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gracie, up you get! Tuttle checks a low kick from Gracie. Tuttle takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Tuttle shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Tuttle takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gracie. Tuttle does a little dance to reset his feet. Tuttle scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tuttle with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Tuttle tries to stand and escape but Gracie is controlling the position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Tuttle stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Tuttle throws a low kick but it's checked well by Gracie. Gracie misses with a hook. Tuttle misses with a takedown attempt and Gracie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Tuttle tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Gracie counters with a nice uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie swings and misses with a shot to the body and Tuttle counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Gracie is lucky that one didn't land flush. Tuttle lands with a kick to the temple. Gracie shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Tuttle lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Tuttle slaps away a takedown attempt from Gracie, before circling back to the center of the mat. Tuttle moves into the clinch successfully.

Gracie tries a body shot but Tuttle blocks it.
Tuttle is trying to pull guard but Gracie turns him against the ropes and we stay in the clinch. Tuttle creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Tuttle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Gracie paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Tuttle throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gracie pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Tuttle misses with a leg kick. Nice body kick there by Tuttle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Good leg kick by Gracie there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Tuttle lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Gracie backs up against the ropes.
Gracie closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Tuttle's guard. Tuttle preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Tuttle is looking to stand up but Gracie isn't so interested in that idea. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Gracie's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Gracie stops Tuttle from standing up. Gracie drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tuttle dives on top into guard. Tuttle postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tuttle forces his way into half guard. Tuttle seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gracie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Archibald Tuttle will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Gracie throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tuttle tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gracie is in Tuttle's guard. Gracie throwing strikes from guard but Tuttle blocks nicely. Tuttle working a defensive guard here.
Tuttle keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully. Tuttle is looking to stand up but Gracie isn't so interested in that idea. Tuttle working a defensive guard here.
Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but Tuttle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Tuttle here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Tuttle lands with a thumping leg kick.
Archibald Tuttle is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gracie misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gracie has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Tuttle avoids the head kick by Gracie.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tuttle wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance. Gracie takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Tuttle throws a head kick that misses. Tuttle drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Tuttle would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Gracie holds on and takes a little breather. Tuttle trying to stand up but can't free himself from Gracie's guard. Tuttle throws a big elbow that misses. Tuttle pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gracie is keeping the position for now. Tuttle is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Gracie has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Tuttle is looking to defend but Gracie has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Tuttle! Gracie pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Tuttle taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Rolls Gracie!
