Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Casey Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glin Burman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Casey Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Glin Burman!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burman digs a good hook to Jones's body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Burman lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Jones on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A thudding body kick lands there by Burman!
Burman's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Burman duly obliges.
Burman lands a big head kick that sends Jones tumbling to the mat! Burman takes a step backwards and waves Jones back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Jones is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Burman was covering up waiting for the punch and Jones finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Oh Jones is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Burman wants to stand up but Jones is controlling him.
Jones wants to control from the top but Burman keeps moving.
Jones seems to have got his legs back now.

Burman wriggles free and stands up.
Jones moves into range and clinches up with Burman.

Burman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

We're going to have a standup here because Casey Jones wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Burman throws a series of punches but Jones avoids them all with ease.
Jones tries to clinch but Burman moves out of range.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Burman tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Burman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jones has hold of one of Burman's legs. Burman is fighting the takedown attempt but Jones gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Jones shoots in for a double leg but Burman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Jones takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
We're going to have a standup here because Casey Jones wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Jones takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Burman throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Burman lands a nice hook to Jones's body. Jones takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Burman is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Jones rather than just go for the knockout.

Jones has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Burman.
Jones takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

and Burman counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Burman connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Jones! He's out on his feet! Burman rushes in and drops Jones with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

After winning the bout, Glin Burman thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
