PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kareem al Rashid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amir Dunham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). al Rashid comes to the cage accompanied by Highlight Reel. Dunham comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Omar Khairat - Alexandria kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that Kareem al Rashid has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kareem al Rashid seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by al Rashid.
al Rashid looks to score with a jab to the body but Dunham is just out of range.
Dunham is trying hard to land a takedown here. al Rashid sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A nice leg kick lands there from al Rashid.
al Rashid stuns Dunham with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
al Rashid walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dunham checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Dunham takes a shot right to the bread basket.
al Rashid tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dunham was well out of range. Poor timing from al Rashid.
Dunham shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
al Rashid scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

al Rashid darts in and clinches Dunham up against the cage.

al Rashid lands a right hand.
al Rashid can't find room to land a body shot as Dunham controls the action.
Dunham is trying to drag al Rashid to the mat but al Rashid just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Kareem al Rashid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amir Dunham.

al Rashid scores with a shot to the side of Dunham's head.

al Rashid lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dunham backwards.

Dunham changes levels and goes for a takedown here. al Rashid fights it off and pushes away nicely.
al Rashid throws a leg kick but Dunham sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from al Rashid, right into the meat.

al Rashid lands a left and a right that send Dunham crashing to the mat, dazed. al Rashid thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Dunham is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
al Rashid fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Dunham square on the jaw! Damn, Dunham is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
