Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randy Lesnar is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Charlie Baker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Randy Lesnar! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Kavanagh and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baker scores a takedown into full mount! Baker is standing up, even though he is in mount. No joy there for Lesnar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Baker scores with a nice head shot. Lesnar throws a right and a left that Baker avoids nicely. Baker throws an overhand right that lands on Lesnar's shoulder, as Lesnar tries to avoid the shot. Baker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lesnar gets caught flat footed, as Baker shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Baker stands up and waves to Lesnar to follow him. Baker has a takedown stuffed. Baker is breathing heavily. Lesnar misses with a series of wild punches.
Lesnar swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lesnar throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Baker's waist but Baker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lesnar off to one side. Lesnar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Baker is fending him off so far but Lesnar persists. Nope, Baker circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baker getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Lesnar looks for a takedown but Baker sprawls well. Charlie Baker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Lesnar. Baker shoots in but Lesnar avoids the takedown attempt easily. Baker dodges the punch combination from Lesnar.
Charlie Baker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Baker shoots in for a takedown but Lesnar shows good takedown defense. Baker throws a lazy right hand but Lesnar sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Baker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lesnar swats him away and circles back towards the center. Baker tries to clinch but Lesnar moves out of range. Baker checks a leg kick nicely. Baker thows a left - swing and a miss! Baker misses the jab. Baker shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lesnar pinned against the cage. Lesnar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Baker wants to clinch up but Lesnar keeps it at a distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lesnar lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Baker backs up against the cage.
Baker is looking to clinch. No luck for Lesnar with that takedown attempt. Lesnar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Baker as he jumps to the side. Baker fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Lesnar throws a right hand that Baker ducks under and follows up with a left that Baker also avoids with ease. Baker tries to clinch there but Lesnar circles away.

Baker misses with a looping right. Horrible takedown by Baker or perhaps it was just good defense by Lesnar which made him look bad. Excellent takedown into side control there by Lesnar. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar trying to control the position but Baker is working away. Baker wants to get back to his feet but Lesnar drags him back down. Baker trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Baker tries to buck Lesnar off but Lesnar is having none of it. Baker tries to escape but Lesnar is in control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Baker will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Lesnar!
Baker misses with a takedown and Lesnar counters with a right hand to the body. Baker is looking to clinch but Lesnar is avoiding it.
Baker doesn't manage to clinch there - Lesnar circles away.
Baker shoots in for a double leg but Lesnar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Baker closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Baker lands in his opponent's guard. Baker in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Baker stands up and waves to Lesnar to follow him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Charlie Baker dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Baker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lesnar paws at him with a jab and circles away. Baker closes the distance and clinches up with Lesnar, looking for a takedown. Baker pushes Lesnar against the cage but Lesnar circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Baker has his takedown stuffed and Lesnar cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Baker throws a sloppy head kick and Lesnar moves out of range easily. Baker has his takedown stuffed and Baker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Baker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Baker ducks right into an uppercut from Lesnar. Lesnar shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Lesnar trying to control but Baker is having none of it. Baker is in all sorts of trouble here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Baker can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Lesnar prevents Baker from getting the reversal. Baker's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Baker regains half guard. Baker actively working from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Baker is trying to stand back up but Lesnar is controlling him

That's three minutes gone in the round. Baker wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Baker is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Lesnar tries to control but Baker wriggling away. Lesnar with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Baker wants to try and get back to his feet. Baker is looking to get to half guard. Baker tries to buck Lesnar off but he can't manage it. Baker is looking to improve his position but Lesnar isn't that keen on the idea. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Baker slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Lesnar stops Baker from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Randy Lesnar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Baker closes the distance but Lesnar moves to the side and Lesnar counters with a flying knee. Nice. Baker tries to clinch up but Lesnar circles away and keeps his distance. Lesnar shoots for a double leg takedown but Baker sprawls well. He's pushed Lesnar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Lesnar keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Baker shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Baker stands and steps away. Lesnar gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Baker fails with a takedown attempt. Baker looks to land a left hand but Lesnar moved out of range nicely. Lesnar misses with a double jab.
Lesnar walks into a stiff left hand from Baker. Lesnar throws a right hand that Baker ducks under and follows up with a left that Baker also avoids with ease. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lesnar tries to land a front kick but Baker steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baker tries to clinch up but Lesnar circles away and keeps his distance. Baker throws a one two combo.
Lesnar looks to land a combination but Baker avoids it well. Lesnar stuffs the takedown attempt from Baker. Baker gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Baker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Baker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Baker throws a shot from downtown. Lesnar moves away and avoids it. Baker tries to clinch but Lesnar moves away and Lesnar counters with a two punch combo. Baker fails to land the takedown. Baker shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Baker showed some decent athleticism there. Baker looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Baker stands up and beckons Lesnar to join him on the feet. Baker avoids a punch combination nicely.
Baker lands a jab to the nose. Lesnar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lesnar keeps the fight on the outside. Baker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lesnar paws at him with a jab and circles away. Randy Lesnar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Baker shoots in looking for a takedown. Lesnar tries to sprawl out of it but Baker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lesnar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Baker fails with a takedown attempt. Baker tries to clinch but Lesnar moves out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Lesnar.
Baker closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lesnar to the mat! Lesnar manages to get full guard. Baker gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Baker digs a good hook to Lesnar's body.
Lesnar drops his hands momentarily and Baker takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. A shot to the body from Baker misses and Lesnar counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Baker! Baker is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Charlie Baker overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Baker keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Baker is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Baker wants to control but Lesnar is having none of it. Baker is looking to improve his position but Lesnar isn't that keen on the idea. Lesnar lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Baker is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
You get the feeling that Baker really doesn't like being in this position too much.
And that's the end of the fight! Charlie Baker showed his dominance in that final round. I think Baker has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
