The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels drives through with a takedown into Strong's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Strong knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Daniels on the ground.
Strong wants to stand up but Daniels is controlling him.

Daniels has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
