The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaminson shoots in looking for a takedown. Plouman Snr tries to sprawl out of it but Jaminson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Plouman Snr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jaminson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Plouman Snr's waist but Plouman Snr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jaminson off to one side.
Jaminson slips a jab and a cross from Plouman Snr.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jaminson is defended easily by Plouman Snr.
Luke Plouman Snr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dirk Jaminson.

Jaminson tries to pull guard but Plouman Snr holds him up against the cage and eventually Jaminson drops back down to his feet.

Jaminson has Plouman Snr pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Plouman Snr manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Plouman Snr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Jaminson is trying desperately to land a takedown but Plouman Snr is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Jaminson.
