Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Prindle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Mitrione (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prindle comes to the cage accompanied by Otherside. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prindle shoots and misses
and Mitrione counters with a nice leg kick.
Prindle fails with the takedown
enabling Mitrione to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Eric Prindle has been cut.

Mitrione drops Prindle with a beautiful combination! Prindle stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mitrione is looking for the KO!
Eric Prindle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Prindle feints and as Mitrione raises his hands in defense, Prindle changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mitrione wants to stand but Prindle is controlling the position.
Mitrione trying to keep a closed guard but Prindle is proving a slippery customer.
Mitrione is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Prindle defends well.

Prindle controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Mitrione is looking to stand up but Prindle isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Mitrione connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Prindle tries for a takedown but Mitrione circles away easily
and Mitrione counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Mitrione counters with a slapping leg kick.
Mitrione lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Mitrione looks to throw the jab but Prindle is out of range.
Prindle shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mitrione counters with an inside leg kick.
Prindle has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Prindle there as he acknowledges the shot.
Eric Prindle's cut is getting worse.
Mitrione throws a series of punches but Prindle moves out of range.

and Mitrione counters with a crisp one two that drops Prindle! Mitrione thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Prindle to his feet! Prindle is in big trouble!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mitrione lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Prindle circles away quickly and effectively.
Prindle doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Mitrione counters with a crisp right hand that drops Prindle! Mitrione lets Prindle back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Oh Prindle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mitrione drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Prindle right on the button. Prindle goes down! Mitrione follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Mitrione gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matt Mitrione!
Matt Mitrione tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
