Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Josh Zingar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wade Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wade Wilson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Josh Zingar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wade Wilson! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zingar takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Zingar moves forwards but Wilson connects with a nice, crisp jab. Wilson jabs at Zingar's body. Wilson lands a nice hook to Zingar's body. Zingar takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Zingar takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Wilson stuffs the takedown. Wilson displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Zingar tries to clinch but Wilson moves out of range. Zingar fails in his attempt to clinch. Wilson blocks a head kick by Zingar.
Wilson keeps the fight on the outside. A big left from Zingar misses. Zingar looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Zingar has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Zingar there as he acknowledges the shot. Wilson lands a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Wilson as Zingar shoots in. Zingar drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Wilson lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Wilson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Zingar moves in looking to clinch but Wilson pushes him off. Wilson throws a series of punches but Zingar avoids them all with ease. A bone on bone clash there as Wilson blocks the leg kick.

Zingar shoots for a double leg takedown but Wilson sprawls well. He's pushed Zingar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wilson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zingar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Zingar landing strikes from the mount. Wilson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Wilson prevents Zingar from taking his back. Wilson bucks up and throws Zingar to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! Zingar shoots in but Wilson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Zingar showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Wilson.

Zingar throws a combination that misses and Wilson counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Wilson is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Wilson lands a nice shot that snaps Zingar's head back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wilson lands a nice looking kick to the body. Zingar takes a step back to recover. Zingar takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Zingar might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Wilson is looking to stand back up but Zingar counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Wilson. Zingar just content to control the position.

Wade Wilson seems to be getting the better of the standup. Zingar takes a kick to the side of the head. Wilson throws a head kick that half lands.
