2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eduard Iriskhanov! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valentine wants to clinch but Iriskhanov slips to the side and Valentine takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Valentine misses with a straight right. Valentine fails with a takedown attempt. Kevin Valentine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Valentine closes the distance and pushes Iriskhanov back into the cage. Iriskhanov is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Valentine goes for a takedown in the clinch but Iriskhanov prevents it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Iriskhanov can do anything to dispel that myth. Valentine stands and throws Iriskhanov's legs to the side, diving into side control. Iriskhanov is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Valentine tries to advance to mount but can't.

Iriskhanov manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Valentine throws a hook to the side of Iriskhanov's head but Iriskhanov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Iriskhanov keeps the fight on the outside. That's three minutes gone in the round. Valentine is trying to escape the position but Iriskhanov is controlling the position. Oh Valentine is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Valentine looking for a sweep but Iriskhanov has passed into full mount! Oh no! Valentine seems to have got his legs back now. Iriskhanov wants to control the pace but Valentine is squirming around nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Valentine tries to hold on but Iriskhanov postures up. Valentine is squirming around, avoiding Iriskhanov's attempts to control the action. Valentine is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that's the end of the fight! Eduard Iriskhanov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Iriskhanov has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
