Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Richmond Finch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tron Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dogs Out- DMX kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Richmond Finch has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Richmond Finch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tron Carter!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finch connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Carter's hands.
Carter takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Carter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Finch throws a hook but Carter blocks it.

Carter throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Finch tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Carter is in Finch's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carter throwing strikes but missing.
Finch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carter on the ground.
Finch is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Carter working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Carter with a flurry of punches that miss.

Carter drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Finch dives on top into guard.
Carter has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Finch wants to stand but Carter has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Finch has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Carter is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Carter has a closed guard, preventing Finch from standing up.
Finch will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Carter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Finch can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Carter is pulling down on Finch's head. It's preventing any offense from Finch, at least for the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
The fighters circling - Carter throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Richmond Finch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Carter takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Finch is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A slapping body kick lands there for Finch.
Carter looks winded!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Carter gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Finch gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Carter is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Richmond Finch!
Richmond Finch tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
