Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between logan heath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elake Laiset (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). logan heath has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
heath lands with a cross.
heath will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
heath misses with a series of wild punches.
Laiset blocks a jab.
heath throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Laiset.
heath misses with a wild combination.
heath throws a nice looking combination but Laiset bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Laiset is on the wrong end of a nice combination from heath.
Some wild striking there from heath.
Laiset walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Laiset steps to the side to avoid the strikes from heath.

Laiset takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

heath uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Laiset has time to react.
heath lands a jab to the head.

Laiset feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Laiset seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. heath is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
