Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Calzaghe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nunes has chosen Pitbull- Hey Baby as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Nunes!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nunes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nunes fails to land with a series of punches.
Nunes shoots for a takedown but Calzaghe saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Calzaghe moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
A big head kick from Calzaghe and Nunes is sent sprawling to the canvas!
Nunes is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nunes keeping moving, preventing Calzaghe from controlling successfully.
Calzaghe looking to pass the guard.
Calzaghe is pushing down on Nunes's leg trying to pass to half guard. Nunes is fighting to maintain full guard but Calzaghe has managed to sneak the leg through.
Calzaghe wants to work for an arm triangle but Nunes is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Calzaghe looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Calzaghe throwing shots but Nunes is blocking nicely.

Calzaghe trying to mount his opponent but Nunes defends it.
Nunes is staying active underneath Calzaghe, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Calzaghe is working for a kimura but Nunes is defending it quite comfortably.
Calzaghe seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nunes does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Calzaghe is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Calzaghe working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nunes manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes.
Nunes is defending against the submission attempts here by Calzaghe.

Nunes is trying to buck Calzaghe off.
Nunes defending against the ground and pound.
Calzaghe goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Nunes has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Calzaghe but great work by Nunes.
Nunes wants to stand but Calzaghe has his arm trapped.

Calzaghe manages to work his way to half guard, despite Nunes's best efforts.
Nunes thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Calzaghe manages to get to full guard.
Calzaghe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Nunes wants to control from the top but Calzaghe keeps moving.
Nunes in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Calzaghe is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nunes is aware though and is defending well.

Calzaghe has his feet on Nunes's thighs here. He's pushed Nunes off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Nunes screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Joe Calzaghe opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
