Dalsworth has chosen Dropkick Murphys, The warriors code as his entrance music. Ed Dalsworth has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mickey Davies! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ed Dalsworth! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dalsworth clinches with his opponent.
Dalsworth escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dalsworth clinches. Dalsworth is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Davies gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Davies throws an elbow but it misses.

Dalsworth is trying to trip Davies. He has hold of a leg but Davies is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Dalsworth persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Dalsworth is looking to work some ground and pound but Davies has wrist control. Davies is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Dalsworth loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dalsworth accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Davies knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dalsworth on the ground. Davies preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Davies utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dalsworth trying to control but Davies is working from the bottom. Dalsworth drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Davies dives on top into guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Dalsworth wants to stand and escape but Davies is having none of it. Dalsworth has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dalsworth wants to sweep here but Davies controlling him for the moment. Dalsworth wants to stand but Davies is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dalsworth kicks Davies off and gets to his feet. Dalsworth forces Davies back against the ropes and clinches. Davies tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Dalsworth avoids it. Davies is defending well against a takedown attempt. Dalsworth avoids a wild elbow strike from Davies. Dalsworth manages to pull guard.

Davies is breathing heavily. Davies decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Dalsworth, up you get! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dalsworth is trying hard to land a takedown here. Davies sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Mickey Davies has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ed Dalsworth. Dalsworth takes the fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dalsworth gets a trip takedown into half guard. Ground and pound from Dalsworth. Dalsworth missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Dalsworth postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Davies to stand up. Dalsworth lands a big head kick that sends Davies to the canvas! Dalsworth follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
