Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tony Tiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Vredenburg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tony Tiger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dante Vredenburg!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vredenburg throws a right and a left that both miss.
Vredenburg looks to land a right hand but Tiger moved out of range.
Tiger swinging wildly here.
Vredenburg throws a nice looking combination but Tiger bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tiger lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vredenburg circles away quickly and effectively.

Tiger drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Tiger staying calm.
The ground and pound from Tiger seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Vredenburg manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Vredenburg wants to stand up but Tiger has a hold of him and won't allow it.

We're going to have a standup here because Tony Tiger wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Tiger tries to bum rush Vredenburg with a series of wild strikes but Vredenburg uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tiger tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dante Vredenburg is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tiger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tiger throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Vredenburg counters with a straight right hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tony Tiger dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Tiger has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Tiger throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Vredenburg was covering up waiting for the punch and Tiger finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tiger throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Vredenburg works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Tiger throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
No joy there for Tiger, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Tiger throws a jab but it's blocked by Vredenburg.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tony Tiger will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Tiger throws a head kick that misses.
A punch lands to the side of Tiger 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Vredenburg misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tiger avoids the head kick by Vredenburg.
Vredenburg cracks Tiger with a good jab.
Vredenburg tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tiger was well out of range. Poor timing from Vredenburg.
Vredenburg throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tiger stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Tiger takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Tiger tries to bum rush Vredenburg with a series of wild strikes but Vredenburg uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Vredenburg scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Tiger changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Vredenburg tries to avoid it but Tiger manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Vredenburg to the ground. Vredenburg escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dante Vredenburg seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Tiger fails to land with a series of punches.
Vredenburg lands a nice leg kick that just misses Tiger's sensitive parts.
Tiger will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Vredenburg connects with a crisp jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dante Vredenburg has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Dante Vredenburg comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Tiger has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
