Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Kristofer Hong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hong comes to the cage accompanied by It's my time. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kristofer Hong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bruce Lee! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hong cracks the inside of Lee's front leg. Hong throws the left hand but Lee avoids the punch easily. Hong comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Hong throws a series of punches but Lee avoids them all with ease. Hong takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Hong throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Hong misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Lee to counter with a crisp jab. Hong looks to score with a jab to the body but Lee is just out of range. Lee throws a lazy uppercut
and Hong counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hong forces Lee back against the cage and clinches. Hong missing with knees to the body.
Hong gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Lee struggles to land a body shot inside as Hong controls his hands.

Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lee is defending well for now. Hong tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Lee misses with a hook from the clinch. Lee is trying to push Hong away but Hong has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Nice body punch from Hong - that landed with a thud.

Lee takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Kristofer Hong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hong misses with a wild body shot. Lee tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Some bone on bone action there as Hong checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Lee misses with a low kick. Lee feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hong's calf. Hong will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Hong is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Hong swings and misses with a shot to the body and Lee counters with a nice leg kick. Hong crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lee - the referee stops the clock and Hong gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lee. Hong manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Hong throws a leg kick and Lee counters with a slapping leg kick. Lee bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Hong avoids a kick to the body.
Lee looks to land a body kick but Hong moved away. Lee lands with a kick to the temple. Hong shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hong lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lee has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lee and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Hong takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. A shot to the liver by Hong. Beautiful body shot. Lee throws the left hand but Hong avoids the punch easily. Hong misses with a left hand and Lee counters with a right hand to the body. Lee connects with a jab. Lee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
