Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus De La Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Kay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De La Cruz comes to the cage accompanied by http://youtu.be/lTiAdy--FOQ. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus De La Cruz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Kay! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Columbo Gatti and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De La Cruz has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kay finds it's way round the side to connect with De La Cruz's head. De La Cruz throws a sloppy head kick and Kay moves out of range easily. Kay will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. De La Cruz throws a half hearted mid kick. De La Cruz closes the distance but Kay moves to the side and Kay counters with a solid body kick. Kay has a takedown stuffed. De La Cruz tried to score with a low kick but Kay checks it. Kay misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Marcus De La Cruz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Kay. Kay fails with a takedown attempt. De La Cruz stuffs the takedown attempt from Kay. Kay gets slowly back to his feet. De La Cruz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

That was a close round but I would say that Marcus De La Cruz will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
