Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oleg Mirchoffski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chubbs Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chubbs Peterson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Oleg Mirchoffski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chubbs Peterson! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peterson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mirchoffski fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Mirchoffski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Peterson as he avoids it easily. Peterson connects with a jab.
It looks like Oleg Mirchoffski has been cut. Peterson stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oleg Mirchoffski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Peterson misses with a two punch combination.
Mirchoffski shoots in but no luck this time. Mirchoffski is breathing heavily. Mirchoffski fails with a takedown attempt. Peterson lands the left hand. Mirchoffski slips a jab and a cross from Peterson.

Peterson digs a good hook to Mirchoffski's body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Peterson throws a right and a left that Mirchoffski avoids nicely. A jab-cross combination lands for Peterson and sends Mirchoffski crashing to the mat! Peterson follows him down to the mat - Mirchoffski regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Mirchoffski is rocked! Mirchoffski missing with punches from the bottom.
Oh Mirchoffski is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Mirchoffski won't allow Peterson to pass to mount. Mirchoffski seems to have got his legs back now. Mirchoffski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mirchoffski wants to get back to full guard. Peterson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Peterson missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Peterson is looking to advance position but Mirchoffski won't allow it. Mirchoffski punching from the bottom.
Peterson not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Peterson stuffs the takedown. A nice combination there by Peterson.
Oleg Mirchoffski's cut is getting worse. Peterson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Peterson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Peterson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mirchoffski looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Peterson throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Mirchoffski colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Peterson as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Mirchoffski is left battered and dazed whilst Peterson and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chubbs Peterson!
