4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Russell Jones! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Alyssa Summers and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones fails in his attempt to clinch. Provocatores scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Jones gets full guard. Jones had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Provocatores is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jones Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Provocatores's back instead. Jones looking to break Provocatores's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Provocatores remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Jones will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Jones patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Provocatores is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Jones throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Provocatores on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Jones. Jones obviously looking to wear him down.
Provocatores takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Jones bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Provocatores changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Provocatores manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones throws a head kick that misses. Jones chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Provocatores closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jones to the mat! Jones manages to get full guard. Provocatores has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Jones has his feet on Provocatores's thighs here. He's pushed Provocatores off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Provocatores screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
