Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tatsuo Nakano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Apollo Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nakano's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Disturbed - Decadance. Tatsuo Nakano has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tatsuo Nakano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Apollo Anderson! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson tries to clinch but Nakano is having none of it. Anderson moves into the clinch successfully.
Nakano has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Anderson after a bit of a struggle. Anderson tries to work over Nakano's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Anderson tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Anderson lands a nice uppercut. Anderson working some nice short punches in the clinch. Nakano is looking to control Anderson's arms but Anderson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Nakano has his back to the ropes. Nakano drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Anderson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Nakano working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Nakano is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the ropes enables Anderson to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tatsuo Nakano. That's going to take a lot out of him. Anderson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Anderson connects with a knee to the head.
Anderson working some nice short punches in the clinch. Nakano blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Anderson tries to work over Nakano's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Anderson misses with a hook from the clinch. Anderson misses with a short punch on the inside. A head punch on the inside from Anderson fails to land.
That's one minute gone in the round. A nice left hand lands by Anderson.

Nakano is pressed up against the ropes. Anderson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Nakano down to the mat. Nakano avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Nakano has a takedown stuffed. Anderson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nakano swats him away and circles back towards the center. Anderson dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Anderson is looking to clinch. Nakano drops his hands momentarily and Anderson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Nakano shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Anderson counters with a leg kick. Anderson closes the distance and clinches. Anderson works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Nakano swings away with an uppercut that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A body shot lands from Anderson.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Anderson throws a head punch that misses. Nakano fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Nakano is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Anderson is defending well. Nakano is breathing heavily. Anderson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Nakanos head. Anderson tightens his grip and picks Nakano up, before dumping him to the ground. Nakano manages to land in guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Nakano avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Anderson sitting in guard, not really doing much. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Anderson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Anderson trying to control but Nakano is working from the bottom. Anderson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nakano is keeping the position for now. Nakano wants to sweep but no luck. Anderson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Anderson tries to free his leg and advance position but Nakano is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Anderson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Nakano lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Anderson! The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Anderson stops Nakano from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Anderson's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Nakano landing strikes from the mount. Anderson wants to use the ropes to get back to his feet here.
Nakano unloads with some shots from mount but Anderson bucks and avoids them well.
Nakano goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Anderson turns into him and now he's in Nakano's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson looking to pass the guard. Nakano manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Anderson manages to get himself to full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Anderson is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Nakano is working Anderson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nakano slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Nakano is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Anderson looks calm but he's in trouble here. Nakano gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Anderson is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Nakano lets go of the hold and Anderson can pop his arm back in it's socket.
