Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Neil Magney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duane Dube (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Neil Magney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Duane Dube! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dube is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Magney takes a kick to the side of the head. Magney shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Magney trying to control from Dube's half guard. Dube has other ideas though and has regained full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dube will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Dube looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Magney is looking to stand up but Dube won't let him. Dube has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Magney stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dube swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Magney trying to control the position from guard on top but Dube is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dube wants to stand and escape but Magney is having none of it.
Neil Magney has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Dube circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dube fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Magney shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dube defends it nicely. Dube keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Magney fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dube avoids it really well and circles away. Dube throws a combination. Magney tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Dube rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Magney moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dube is defended easily by Magney. Dube misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Neil Magney has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Duane Dube. Dube thows a body shot but no joy. Dube stuffs the takedown.

Dube displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Magney. Magney closes the distance and pushes Dube back into the cage. Dube pulls guard. Dube is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Dube lands a couple of digs. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dube postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Magney throws out a leg kick but Dube moves out of range and Magney only half commits. Dube scores with a jab to the body. Dube misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Magney shoots in and drives through. Dube sprawls well. Dube shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Magney as he jumps to the side. A shot to the liver by Magney. Beautiful body shot. Magney misses with a takedown attempt - Dube sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Neil Magney is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dube. Magney misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Dube as Magney shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Neil Magney. That's going to take a lot out of him. Magney swats away the attempt to clinch by Dube. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dube. Dube wants to clinch. Dube gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Magney counters with a one-two to the body. Magney dives in and scores a takedown into Dube's guard. Magney won't allow Dube to sweep him here. Dube wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Magney stops Dube from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dube can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Magney controls the pace. Magney pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dube is keeping the position for now. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A nice leg kick lands there from Dube. Magney has a takedown stuffed. Duane Dube seems to be getting the better of the standup. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Magney changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dube tries to avoid it but Magney manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dube to the ground. Dube escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dube tries for a takedown but Magney sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Magney shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dube sprawls well. Dube wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Magney gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Dube or perhaps it was just good defense by Magney which made him look bad. Magney misses with a takedown attempt - Dube sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Dube throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Magney's waist but Magney gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dube off to one side. Magney stuffs the takedown. Magney misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Magney rushes Dube and presses him up against the cage. Dube is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dube is looking for a takedown. Magney stalling in the clinch but Dube improves position. Dube tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dube is looking to break free of the clinch but Magney has double underhooks. Magney prevents Dube from breaking the clinch. Dube jumps guard and drags Magney to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Magney trying to control but Dube is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dube wants to sweep but no luck. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Neil Magney will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

He's pushed Magney's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Magney shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Dube drives through and clinches with Magney against the cage.

Magney has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dube keeping moving, preventing Magney from controlling successfully. Magney trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dube trying to control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Magney is working hard here to advance position. Dube is looking for a triangle but Magney pushes his legs off easily.
Dube manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Magney manages to get himself to full guard.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Magney can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dube controls the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Duane Dube. Magney moves in looking to clinch but Dube pushes him off. Magney shoots in looking for a takedown. Dube tries to sprawl out of it but Magney keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dube manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Neil Magney. That's going to take a lot out of him.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Duane Dube. I think Dube has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
