PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lord Vader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xtreme Mma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vader kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Same Ol' Road. Mma has chosen I Wont Back Down as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mma dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Vader takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Mma closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Vader to the mat! Vader manages to get full guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Mma with a nice head shot there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mma distracts Vader with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Mma trying to control the position from guard on top but Vader is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mma content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Vader is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Mma chips away with some ground and pound.

Mma pushes down on Vader's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Mma is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Vader has his foot on Mma's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mma works his way back into a safe position though.

Vader is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Mma cracks Vader with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Mma immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Vader is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Mma!
