Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juan Carlos Serrate!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Man controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Serrate isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Man stacks Serrate on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Man!
Serrate prevents Man from moving into mount.
Serrate is looking for a sweep.
Man has control of an arm but Serrate manages to advance to Man's back!
Serrate tries to keep control of the position but Man is staying busy.
Serrate really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Man. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Serrate misses with punches from the back.
Serrate throwing sloppy strikes.
Man tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Man tries to hold on but Serrate pushes him away.
Serrate wants to control the pace but Man is squirming around nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Serrate sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Man regains half guard.
Man trying to hold on to Serrate's head to control him but Serrate postures up.
Serrate with the ground and pound but Man uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Man has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Serrate off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Serrate thows a body kick. Man tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Man tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Serrate paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Serrate lands the left hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Man closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Man stands up from half guard.
Man throws a head kick that misses.
Serrate throws out a powerful jab.
Serrate bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Man's head backwards.
Nice shot by Serrate.
Good exchange - Serrate coming out on top.
A jab lands there for Serrate.
Serrate lands with a kick to the ribs.
Man is breathing heavily.
Decent striking displayed by Serrate there.
Man is rocked!
A good leg kick by Serrate.
Man seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Serrate shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Man is backing up but Serrate catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Man covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Serrate Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Juan Carlos Serrate!
