Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter shoots for a double leg takedown but Ohman sprawls well. He's pushed Carter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ohman tries to bum rush Carter with a series of wild strikes but Carter uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ohman fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Carter sprawls well initially but Ohman persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Ohman wants to take a breather but Carter is having none of it.
Carter trying to control but Ohman postures up.
Ohman decides to return to a standing position.
Ohman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Carter paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Carter has had enough of the clinch but Ohman keeps him there for the moment.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ohman is looking for a sweep. Carter is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Carter decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Ohman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Carter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Carter takes a kick to the side of the head.
Carter lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Santosh Ohman has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ohman has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Carter uses from the top position.

Carter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ohman but Ohman pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Ohman tries to keep at a distance but Carter has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ohman throws a knee to the head but misses.
The referee calls for Carter to work.
Carter is trying to break the clinch but Ohman has him pressed against the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ohman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ohman takes the fight into the clinch.
Carter tries a body shot but Ohman blocks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ohman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ohman wants it to stay on the feet.
Carter shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ohman defends it nicely.

Ohman stands and throws Carter's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Carter has taken the fight to the clinch.
Carter wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ohman has him pressed against the cage.

Ohman tightens his grip and picks Carter up, before dumping him to the ground. Carter manages to land in guard.

Ohman scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Ohman is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Santosh Ohman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ohman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Carter's guard.

Horrible takedown by Ohman or perhaps it was just good defense by Carter which made him look bad.

Ohman in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Carter tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Ohman!
