Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rauno Repomies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nordin Tangier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Repomies comes to the cage accompanied by Andy Suonsilmä - Karrelle palanut enkeli. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Repomies thows a body shot but no joy.
Tangier tries to bum rush Repomies with a series of wild strikes but Repomies uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tangier doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Repomies lands with a kick to the temple. Tangier shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Nordin Tangier has been cut.
Tangier looks winded!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Repomies, right into the meat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tangier tries to close the distance and clinch but Repomies swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Repomies lands with a right hand.
Repomies throws a nice outside leg kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Repomies.
Tangier tries a head kick but it misses.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Repomies. Tangier shrugs it off though.
Tangier takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Repomies throws a quick inside leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Repomies.
Tangier steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Repomies. That one must have hurt.
A slow jab from Repomies misses its intended target.

Repomies lands a big head kick that sends Tangier tumbling to the mat! Repomies takes a step backwards and waves Tangier back to his feet - he wants the finish!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tangier takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Repomies keeps Tangier at a distance using the push kick.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Repomies! Tangier is out on his feet! Repomies rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Tangier is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Tangier is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rauno Repomies!
