Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tzvetvan Todorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel Colon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tzvetvan Todorov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tzvetvan Todorov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Angel Colon!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Todorov scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Colon throws a hook but Todorov blocks it.
Colon lands a nice shot to the body.
Colon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Todorov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Colon circles away.
Todorov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Colon tries to avoid it but Todorov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Colon to the ground. Colon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Todorov takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Colon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That was a close round but I would say that Tzvetvan Todorov will probably get the nod.

Todorov shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Todorov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Colon pinned against the cage. Colon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A close second round but Angel Colon will probably get the nod - 10:9.
