The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee misses the jab.
The fighters circle momentarily. McGee darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Munson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Munson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A big left from McGee misses.
Munson tries to clinch but McGee is having none of it.
McGee throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Munson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
McGee rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Munson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by McGee.
McGee misses with the head strike.
Munson misses with a knee strike.
Munson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

McGee misses with a shot to the kidneys.
McGee misses with a hook from the clinch.
Munson blocks an uppercut.
McGee misses with some punches.
McGee misses with a punch on the inside.
Munson is looking to control McGee's arms but McGee gets an underhook and turns him. Now Munson has his back to the cage.
McGee misses with a body punch.
Munson is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
McGee looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
McGee has a couple of punches blocked by Munson.
Munson lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
McGee wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Munson has him pressed against the cage.

McGee manages to break the clinch.
McGee throws an overhand right that lands on Munson's shoulder, as Munson tries to avoid the shot.

and Munson counters with a shoot takedown. McGee fights it but they end up in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Munson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
McGee utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

McGee manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Munson is looking to improve his position but McGee isn't that keen on the idea.

Munson regains half guard.
Munson wants to sweep but McGee has passed to side control!
McGee controls the position from side control.

Munson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
McGee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Munson keeps working.
McGee tries to advance to mount but can't.

McGee is looking to take a break and control but Munson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

McGee digs a good body shot into Munson's ribs.

McGee drops Munson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Munson looks back up at him and smiles so McGee waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
