Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zacharius Pendragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gabriel Flores! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 42 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zacharius Pendragon! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooh!!! Pendragon has knocked Flores down with a huge combo! Pendragon steps away and waves a wobbly Flores back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Gabriel Flores has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pendragon shoots in looking for a takedown but Flores manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pendragon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Pendragon fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Pendragon has his takedown stuffed and Flores counters with a nice uppercut. Gabriel Flores has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zacharius Pendragon. Flores fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pendragon looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Pendragon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Flores counters with a nice uppercut. Flores lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pendragon circles away quickly and effectively.
Flores gets caught napping as Pendragon dives in and scores a takedown. Flores manages to retain guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Pendragon looking to sit in guard and control but Flores gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Flores chips away with some ground and pound. Pendragon keeping moving, preventing Flores from controlling successfully. Pendragon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Pendragon uses the cage to get back to his feet.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Pendragon has his takedown stuffed
and Flores counters with a series of strikes that sends Pendragon to the canvas! Flores follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!

Pendragon is rocked! Pendragon looks winded! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pendragon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Flores controls the pace. Pendragon preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Flores landing some decent shots from guard. Pendragon manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Pendragon with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Pendragon goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Flores turns into him and now he's in Pendragon's guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Flores working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Pendragon's head.
Pendragon working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Flores has passed into half guard!
Pendragon is trying to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Flores looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Flores looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pendragon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Flores is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Ground and pound from Flores. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Flores lands a nice short elbow. Flores is looking to advance position but Pendragon won't allow it. Pendragon is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Flores's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Flores's back!
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Flores is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Pendragon has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Flores has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Pendragon looking to break Flores's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Flores remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Pendragon will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Pendragon has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Flores has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Flores is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Pendragon gets his way!

Pendragon looking for the choke from the back. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Flores breaks Pendragon's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Gabriel Flores will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Gabriel Flores's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Pendragon shoots in looking for a takedown. Flores tries to sprawl out of it but Pendragon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Flores manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Flores looks to score with a jab to the body but Pendragon is just out of range. Pendragon shoots in looking for a takedown but Flores manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pendragon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Pendragon misses with a takedown and Flores counters with a crisp right that sends Pendragon to the canvas! Flores follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
