Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Recksun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Recksun comes into the arena with Eye of the Tiger blaring out of the sound system. Slide has chosen Marilyn Manson - The Beautiful People as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hugh Recksun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kimbo Slide!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Slide with that takedown attempt.
Recksun misses with a two punch combination.
Slide shoots in for a takedown but Recksun shows good takedown defense.
Horrible takedown by Slide or perhaps it was just good defense by Recksun which made him look bad.
Hugh Recksun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kimbo Slide.

Slide closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Recksun to the mat! Recksun manages to get full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hugh Recksun will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Recksun wants to get back to his feet but Slide is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Recksun might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Hugh Recksun just wasn't active enough.
Slide tries for a takedown but Recksun sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Slide throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Recksun's waist but Recksun gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Slide off to one side.
Recksun bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Slide's head backwards.

Recksun lands a brutal head kick. Slide looks out on his feet and Recksun throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Our winner, Hugh Recksun, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
