Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Avenger Of Steel Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Six Shooter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shooter has chosen DJ Antoine - Ma Cherie as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Six Shooter told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel Penn looks for the body kick but Shooter saw that one coming.
Shooter takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Avenger Of Steel Penn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Steel Penn takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Six Shooter has been cut.
Shooter looks to clinch
and Steel Penn connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Steel Penn misses with a two punch combination.
Steel Penn throws the kick towards the body but Shooter avoids it.
Steel Penn misses with a series of wild punches.
Shooter wants to clinch
and Shooter takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Steel Penn cracks the inside of Shooter's front leg.
Steel Penn clobbers Shooter with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Steel Penn throws a push kick but Shooter slaps the foot to one side.

Shooter looks to score with a jab to the body but Steel Penn is just out of range.
Shooter uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Steel Penn.
Steel Penn dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

and Shooter counters by clinching up.
Shooter misses with a short punch on the inside.

Shooter is looking to control Steel Penn's arms but Steel Penn gets an underhook and turns him. Now Shooter has his back to the cage.

Steel Penn has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Shooter takes the fight into the clinch.
Shooter jumps guard and drags Steel Penn to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Shooter has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Steel Penn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Steel Penn wants to stand but Shooter has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Steel Penn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shooter on the ground.

Shooter has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Steel Penn is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Shooter.
Steel Penn decides to stand back up.

and Shooter counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Steel Penn is pressed up against the cage. Shooter has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Steel Penn down to the mat. Steel Penn avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Steel Penn connects with a crisp jab.
That has opened up Six Shooter's cut even more.
Shooter shoots for a double leg takedown but Steel Penn sprawls well. He's pushed Shooter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Steel Penn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shooter stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Shooter on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Steel Penn paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Steel Penn throws a right and a left that Shooter avoids nicely.
Steel Penn keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Shooter will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Steel Penn looks to throw the jab but Shooter is out of range.

Steel Penn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shooter closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
The cut above Six Shooter's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Shooter wants to clinch but Steel Penn slips to the side
and Steel Penn counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Steel Penn cracks Shooter with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Shooter looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Steel Penn finish him?
Shooter is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Shooter avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Shooter is still on wobbly legs! Can Steel Penn finish him?
Steel Penn cracks Shooter with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Shooter falls to his knees and Steel Penn doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Avenger Of Steel Penn!
