Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lou Ferrigno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Coalman Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coalman Gracie will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lou Ferrigno! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Coalman Gracie! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie darts in and clinches Ferrigno up against the cage. Ferrigno has a couple of punches blocked by Gracie.
Ferrigno misses with the head strike.
Gracie keeps control of Ferrigno as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Gracie is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ferrigno gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Ferrigno has had enough of the clinch but Gracie keeps him there for the moment. Gracie goes for a takedown attempt but Ferrigno pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Gracie ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ferrigno moves away. Gracie walks into a left hand.
It looks like Coalman Gracie has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ferrigno uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gracie. Gracie is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ferrigno misses with a right hand and Gracie counters by moving into the clinch. Ferrigno tries to break free but Gracie pushes him back against the cage. Ferrigno is trying to push Gracie away but Gracie has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Ferrigno prevents a takedown attempt there.
Lou Ferrigno has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Coalman Gracie. Gracie tries for a takedown but Ferrigno manages to get underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ferrigno fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Gracie gets a trip takedown into half guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Ferrigno tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg. Ferrigno looking for submissions off his back. Ferrigno trying to hold on to Gracie's head to control him but Gracie postures up.
Ferrigno is trying to get back to full guard. Ferrigno works his way to full guard. Good work. Ferrigno looking for a guillotine here but Gracie defends easily.
Ferrigno is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gracie is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ferrigno isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Gracie stacks Ferrigno on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Gracie! Ferrigno tries to improve position but can't. Gracie creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. This has been an exciting period of action! Gracie creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Ferrigno tries to bench press Gracie off him but Gracie keeps the position. Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Ferrigno is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. You can see the frustration on Ferrigno's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ferrigno is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Ferrigno wants to get back to full guard. Gracie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ferrigno does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Ferrigno taking some punishment here, with Gracie in his half guard. Gracie frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Ferrigno wants to hold on but Gracie pushes him away. Gracie lands a big shot there that rocks Ferrigno but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Ferrigno tries to reverse the position but Gracie maintains control. Gracie sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Gracie connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ferrigno is trying desperately to improve position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ferrigno tries to buck Gracie off but he can't manage it. Gracie landing punches. Gracie content just to control the position here. Ferrigno is looking to improve his position but Gracie isn't that keen on the idea. Gracie fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Ferrigno is wriggling around trying to escape.
Gracie landing shots from mount. Ferrigno sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Gracie trying to control the action but Ferrigno is working from the bottom. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ferrigno is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Gracie looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Coalman Gracie will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Coalman Gracie's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Lou Ferrigno is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gracie dodges the punch combination from Ferrigno.
Gracie throws a head kick that Ferrigno semi-blocks.
Ferrigno throws a hook but Gracie blocks it. Gracie closes the distance and clinches. Ferrigno is trying to break free. Gracie has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Ferrigno clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Gracie is landing with strikes. Ferrigno can't take much more of this. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ferrigno is in bad spot here.
The referee is taking a good look at Ferrigno as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Gracie!
Ferrigno grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Gracie has the hooks in. Ferrigno is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie wants to control but Ferrigno is keeping busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ferrigno controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Ferrigno is keeping busy.
Gracie lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Ferrigno hold on?!
Good control from Gracie. Gracie lands strikes to the head. Ferrigno rolls, trying to escape but Gracie keeps control of the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gracie looking for the choke from the back. Gracie is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Ferrigno. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Gracie looking to break Ferrigno's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Ferrigno remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Gracie will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Gracie is landing with strikes. Ferrigno can't take much more of this. Gracie gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Ferrigno seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Ferrigno from controlling successfully. Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ferrigno slips nicely into half guard. Ferrigno is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Ferrigno trying to mount his opponent but Gracie defends it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ferrigno is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gracie is just riding it out for now. Ferrigno eventually gives up the hold. Gracie preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Ferrigno wants to pass the guard but Gracie is defending well. Gracie is looking to control Ferrigno's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Gracie avoid being mounted? Ferrigno wants to stand up but Gracie has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Gracie tries to roll over but Ferrigno keeps him under control. Ferrigno is trying to work for a kimura but Gracie is defending well.

I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Ferrigno feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gracies jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Ferrigno looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well. Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Ferrigno shows good takedown defense. No luck for Gracie with that takedown attempt. Gracie drives through and clinches with Ferrigno against the cage.
Gracie keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ferrigno's efforts to push away. Ferrigno working hard to break the clinch. Ferrigno is trying to break the clinch but Gracie has him pressed against the cage. Gracie pulls guard successfully.
Ferrigno preventing the sweep. Ferrigno stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ferrigno wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. Gracie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Gracie is pulling down on Ferrigno's head to control his posture. Ferrigno is looking to stand up but Gracie won't let him. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ferrigno throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Gracie counters with a left and a right that stings Ferrigno. Ferrigno will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ferrigno throws a series of punches but Gracie moves out of range. Gracie forces Ferrigno back against the cage and clinches. Ferrigno gets underhooks to prevent Gracie's takedown attempt.

Gracie gets control of Ferrigno's arms and successfully pulls guard. Gracie will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ferrigno is looking to stand up but Gracie won't let him. Ferrigno preventing the sweep. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ferrigno throws a left and a right that both miss
and Gracie counters by clinching up. Ferrigno prevents a takedown attempt there.
Gracie is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ferrigno pulls him back up using the underhooks. Gracie goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ferrigno prevents it.
Ferrigno is trying to break free. Gracie tries to pull guard but Ferrigno holds him up against the cage and eventually Gracie drops back down to his feet.
Gracie drags the fight down to the ground.
Ferrigno might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Ferrigno won't allow Gracie to sweep him here. Ferrigno wants to pass the guard but Gracie is keeping the position. Lou Ferrigno has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ferrigno stopping the sweep attempt from Gracie. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ferrigno is looking to work some ground and pound but Gracie has wrist control.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lou Ferrigno. I think Gracie has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
