PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Tyroon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Conway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Conway has chosen Money in The Bank as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brad Tyroon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Conway!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conway tries for a takedown but Tyroon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Conway looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Tyroon!
Tyroon is pushing Conway's head away, looking to escape. Conway manages to hold on to the position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Conway looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Tyroon is avoiding damage well.
Tyroon regains half guard, as Conway was trying to land strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Conway seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Conway is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Conway is pressing down on Tyroon's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tyroon is holding on for now.
Tyroon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Conway on the ground.
Conway wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tyroon keeps working.
Tyroon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tyroon tries to get out of the position.

Conway is working for a kimura here but Tyroon manages to reverse the position and he's now in Conway's guard.

Conway has his hands on Tyroon's head, controlling the position.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ryan Conway wasn't active enough on the ground.
Tyroon misses with a two punch combination.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tyroon. Conway does a little dance to reset his feet.

Conway slips a straight right by Tyroon.
Tyroon throws a right hand that Conway ducks under and follows up with a left that Conway also avoids with ease.
Tyroon scores with a one two! Conway had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.


It looks like Ryan Conway has been cut.
Conway tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tyroon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Conway somewhat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Conway is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tyroon sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Brad Tyroon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Conway.

Conway dodges the punch combination from Tyroon.
Conway blocks a head kick by Tyroon.
Ryan Conway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyroon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tyroon wants it to stay on the feet.

Tyroon tries to bum rush Conway with a series of wild strikes but Conway uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Tyroon sends Conway crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Tyroon is motioning to the referee to let Conway up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Conway shoots in and drives through. Tyroon sprawls well.
Tyroon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tyroon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tyroon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Conway closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Conway lands in his opponent's guard.
Tyroon wants to stand but Conway is controlling the position.
Tyroon is breathing heavily.
Conway won't allow Tyroon to sweep him here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Conway looking to sit in guard and control but Tyroon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brad Tyroon dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ryan Conway's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Tyroon stuffs the takedown.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Conway.
Jab, jab by Tyroon - just one landing.
Conway uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tyroon.
A left lands for Tyroon.
Conway ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Tyroon displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Conway.
Brad Tyroon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Conway.
Tyroon misses with a hook. Conway ducked under it nicely.
Conway misses with a takedown attempt - Tyroon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tyroon throws a lazy uppercut
and Conway counters with a series of strikes. Tyroon will be more careful next time no doubt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tyroon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Brad Tyroon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Conway shoots in for a double leg but Tyroon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tyroon slaps away a takedown attempt from Conway, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Conway is breathing heavily.

Oooooh!!! Tyroon has knocked Conway down with a huge combo! Tyroon steps away and waves a wobbly Conway back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Conway is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tyroon measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Conway! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Brad Tyroon!
After the fight, Brad Tyroon was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
