The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collins jabs Barnet right on the nose. Barnet blinks but takes it well.
Barnet is trying hard to land a takedown here. Collins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Nice takedown defense from Collins. No joy for Barnet on that attempt.
Barnet displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Collins throws out the jab.
Collins clobbers Barnet with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Collins rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barnet moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Collins lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Collins throws a series of punches but Barnet avoids them all with ease.
Collins throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Barnet is trying hard to land a takedown here. Collins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Fred Collins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Barnet.
and Collins counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Barnet! He's just covering up as Collins starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

A less than humble Fred Collins misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
