Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brooklyn Brawler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Recksun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brawler kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Where Brooklyn At?!?!. Recksun has chosen Eye of the Tiger as his entrance music. Brooklyn Brawler has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brooklyn Brawler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hugh Recksun! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Recksun misses with a kick to the body.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Brawler lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Recksun gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Brawler.
It looks like Hugh Recksun has been cut. Brawler lands a head shot. Brawler lands a jab to the head.
Recksun shoots in looking for a takedown. Brawler tries to sprawl out of it but Recksun keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brawler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Brawler looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Brawler lands a glancing blow to the side of Recksun's head. This has been an exciting period of action! Recksun avoids a punch combination nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Brawler. Recksun does a little dance to reset his feet. Brawler lands with an uppercut that bounces Recksun off the cage and back into range. Brawler connects with a jab. Brawler is looking to land body kicks. Brawler with a jab. Recksun tries a head kick but it misses.

Brawler throws a series of punches but Recksun avoids them all with ease. Brawler throws a body punch but Recksun moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Recksun lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brawler circles away quickly and effectively. Some bone on bone action there as Recksun checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Recksun swinging wildly here.
Brawler is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Brawler lands a two punch combo.
Brawler throws a head kick but Recksun moves out of range.
Brawler lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Brawler blocks a jab. Brawler lands with a straight right. Recksun didn't see that one coming. Brooklyn Brawler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Recksun takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Brawler throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Recksun. Brawler's jab looks to have found its range, popping Recksun under the eye. Recksun takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Recksun shoots in and drives through. Brawler sprawls well. Brawler is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Brawler bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Recksun's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheers as Brawler lands an impressive looking overhand right. Recksun doesn't seem phased though. Recksun showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Brawler.
Recksun has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Brawler cracks Recksun with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Recksun pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Brawler is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Brawler misses with a two punch combination.
Recksun walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Brawler avoids a punch combination nicely.
Brawler thuds his right hand into Recksun's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Recksun ducks under a wild hook from Brawler. Recksun moves forwards but Brawler connects with a nice, crisp jab. A combination from Recksun does no damage. Brawler lands a jab to the head.
Nice jab there from Brawler. Brawler slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Recksun throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Brawler takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Brooklyn Brawler has been cut. Brawler pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Recksun throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Nice jab there from Brawler. Brawler throws out a leg kick but Recksun moves out of range and Brawler only half commits. Brawler lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. A left and a right from Brawler both land. Nice combination.
That has opened up Hugh Recksun's cut even more. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A nice combination there by Brawler.
Recksun shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Brooklyn Brawler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hugh Recksun. Brawler stalks Recksun and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Recksun's face. Recksun staggers backwards, shaken. Brawler looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Brawler's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Brawler duly obliges. Brawler stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The cut above Hugh Recksun's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Brawler scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Recksun tries a head kick but it misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Recksun avoids a kick to the body.
Brawler takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. We've been told by Brawler's head coaches at Silverback MMA Academy (Elite + Sauna & 160VM) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Recksun has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Recksun clinches with his opponent.
Brawler is looking to break free of the clinch but Recksun has double underhooks. Recksun manages to break the clinch.
Brawler's jab looks to have found its range, popping Recksun under the eye. Recksun throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Brawler. Recksun misses with a head kick.
Brawler lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Some wild striking there from Brawler.
Brawler lands a jab to Recksun's midsection. Brawler scores with a jab. Recksun acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Recksun has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Recksun there as he acknowledges the shot. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Brawler lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Hugh Recksun's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Brawler throws a sloppy head kick and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Brawler throws a series of punches but Recksun avoids them all with ease. Recksun lands a high kick!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brooklyn Brawler dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Brawler is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Recksun can do to turn this around? Brawler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Recksun moves away. Brawler connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Recksun takes one to the chin there. Recksun looks for a takedown but Brawler sprawls well. Recksun takes one on the button. Brawler throws a good cross that connects.
Brawler connects with a body shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brawler cracks Recksun with a good jab. Brawler defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Recksun. Brawler connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Recksun momentarily.
Recksun takes a shot right to the bread basket. Brawler lands a right hook to the body.
Recksun closes the distance and clinches. Brawler manages to break the clinch.
Recksun on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hugh Recksun's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
