Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Riddle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes into the arena with Highway Star by Deep Purple blaring out of the sound system. Riddle has chosen Hatsikidee! as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Riddle!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riddle fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jackson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Jackson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nice shot lands for Jackson.
Jackson throws a body punch but Riddle moves out of range.
Riddle throws an overhand right that lands on Jackson's shoulder, as Jackson tries to avoid the shot.
Jackson wants to clinch up but Riddle keeps it at a distance.
Jackson throws a quick inside leg kick.
Jackson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Riddle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Riddle scores with a sloppy right hand. Jackson should have avoided that one.
Jackson throws a push kick but Riddle slaps the foot to one side.
Riddle takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Jackson stuns Riddle with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jackson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Black Hand Gymnasium LV in the buildup to the fight.

Jackson doesn't manage to clinch there - Riddle circles away.

Jackson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jackson, as that shot connected.


It looks like Tom Riddle has been cut.

Riddle turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Riddle manages to end up in side control.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Riddle working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Jackson is looking to reverse the position.

Jackson takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Riddle misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Riddle takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Jackson - that will leave a mark!
Jackson tries to clinch but Riddle is having none of it.
Riddle shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jackson defends it nicely.
A slapping body kick lands there for Jackson.
Riddle lands with a good body shot.
Jackson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Jackson here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
