Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daouda Kaho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh Recksun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Recksun has chosen Eye of the Tiger as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Hugh Recksun has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Daouda Kaho!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hugh Recksun!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Recksun shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kaho napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Kaho tries to close the distance and clinch but Recksun swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kaho drives through and clinches with Recksun against the cage.

Recksun is trying to break the clinch but Kaho has him pressed against the cage.

Recksun manages to pull guard.
Kaho tries to stand but Recksun is controlling from the bottom.

Kaho gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Hugh Recksun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Recksun throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Kaho moves into range and clinches up with Recksun.
Our sources have told us that Kaho has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.

Recksun is trying to trip Kaho. He has hold of a leg but Kaho is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Recksun persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kaho wants to get back to his feet but Recksun is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

That was a close round but I would say that Daouda Kaho will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Daouda Kaho.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kaho, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
