Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Spat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams has chosen Kronik as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Spat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Adams! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spat drives through and clinches with Adams against the cage.
Spat misses with a hook from the clinch. Spat misses with a knee to the head. Spat doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Adams is trying to trip Spat. He has hold of a leg but Spat is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Adams persists though and gets the takedown into guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Adams's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Spat is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Adams defends well. Spat pulls Adams in close to prevent any damage. Adams trying to control the position from guard on top but Spat is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Adams has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Spat controlling the position. Spat trying to keep a closed guard but Adams is proving a slippery customer.
Spat is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Adams is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jack Spat wasn't doing enough on the ground. Spat fails in his attempt to clinch. Adams feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Spat keeping moving, preventing Adams from controlling successfully. Adams slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Spat is trying to keep Adams in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Spat looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Adams postures up and lands a big shot to Spat's brow. Spat tries to land a sweep but no joy. Spat is trying to keep Adams in close.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Spat rushes Adams and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Adams. Adams avoiding damage as Spat throws knees to the body.
Adams looking for a takedown. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Spat prevents the takedown attempt.

Spat trying to control the position but instead, Adams has worked for underhooks and has pushed Spat into the cage. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Spat throws a head punch that misses. Spat letting Adams take a breather here. Spat misses with a punch on the inside.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adams breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Adams shoots in for a takedown but Spat shows good takedown defense. Jack Spat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Adams. Adams throws a head kick but Spat moves out of range.

Adams persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Adams throws a big right hand that misses. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Adams working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Spat wants to sweep but no luck. Adams throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Spat works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Spat looking for a guillotine here but Adams defends easily.
Adams controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Spat is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Brian Adams will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Adams moves into the clinch. Adams jumps guard and drags Spat to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Spat engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Spat trying to control but Adams is working from the bottom.

Spat goes for a double leg but Adams avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Adams continues to drive forward. Adams is working for takedown but Spat is calmly controlling the position for now. Spat misses with a hook from the clinch. Spat manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spat darts in trying to clinch and Adams counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Spat looking to control.
Spat wants to stand up but Adams is controlling him. Adams wants to stand but Spat is controlling his posture from full guard. Spat has Adams pulled in close to control his posture. Spat throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Adams postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Adams controlling the action here. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Spat is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Spat is trying to maintain the position but Adams is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jack Spat. Spat tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Adams paws at him with a jab and circles away. Adams shoots for a double leg takedown but Spat sprawls well. He's pushed Adams's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Adams shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Spat but Spat pushes him off and we're back to square one. Spat tries to clinch and Adams counters with a series of strikes. Spat will be more careful next time no doubt. Spat wants to clinch and Adams counters with a nice double leg into side control. Spat won't be happy with that. Brian Adams has got the better of the ground game so far.

Spat gets tackled into the cage by Adams. Adams maintains the clinch. A short right from Spat on the inside. Adams tries for a takedown. No joy.

Adams jabs at Spat's body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Adams drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Brian Adams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Adams has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Brian Adams! Brian Adams decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
