The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanford breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sanford throws a quick inside leg kick.

and Johehanson counters with a nice low kick that buckles Sanford's knee momentarily.
Johehanson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Reagel Johehanson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Sanford moves into the clinch.

Johehanson jumps guard and drags Sanford to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Johehanson is looking to cinch up a triangle. Sanford throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Johehanson's body to avoid the submission. Johehanson has instead reached around Sanford's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Johehanson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
